A Mega Stone is a permanent item that allows certain Pokémon to undergo Mega Evolution. Unlike the video games, however, Mega Evolution is a permanent change on GPX+, resulting in a new Pokédex entry.
Users who have purchased the Mega Ring Account Upgrade can obtain Mega Stones. Currently, Mega Stones are obtained 'on the ground' on the first day of a Plus, known as a Mega Plus Day[1].
Mega Evolution
A Pokémon can Mega Evolve if its owner is in possession of the corresponding Mega Stone and the Pokémon is at maximum happiness. Depending on the Pokémon, Mega Evolution is then triggered by the consumption of a specific Evolution Item, by the presence of a particular kind of Weather, or if it is day or night.
